Lucy cannot bring herself to kill Mitchell and tells Kemp, whose hatred of vampires is seen to stem from the fact that a trio of them killed his family when he was a young vicar in 1972. George starts to make a home with Sam but Molly discerns he has a secret. Annie strays into an old theatre and sees Alan Cortez, a washed-up medium who has lost his psychic powers. She assembles a team of ghosts to tell their loved ones the truth - which also enables the ghosts to pass over. She is amazed to see her mother, Carmen, in the audience and allows Carmen to achieve closure by knowing that her daughter wants her to stop grieving.
